Overview of EMS Desktop Client Configuration

This guide leads you through all aspects of configuring EMS under the assumption that you have installed the application and have Administrator access. For training in initial setup and configuration, contact EMS Professional Services. Titles of many sections in this guide refer to menu options from the main menu in EMS Desktop Client.

To enable end-users to make reservations in EMS, at a minimum, you must configure buildings, rooms, statuses, and groups. We recommend that you configure your system in the following phases:
