Book a Desk or Workspace in EMS Kiosk App

You can make your own reservations for today with the Make a Reservation page in EMS Kiosk App.

The following procedure is written from the perspective of a group search. Depending on how your EMS Kiosk App is configured, you might be required to enter a personnel/employee ID number for your search criteria.

  1. Click Make a Reservation

    A page opens where you find your user profile in the system (unless your system is set up to allow guest reservations).

  2. In Group (which might be labeled differently, such as "Employee"), enter your name, and then click Search

    A list of all groups/people that meet your search criteria display. The search is limited to the exact order of the characters in the string, but the string can be found anywhere in the search results, and it is not case-sensitive. For example, a search string of “de” returns both Anderson, Scott and Evans, Dean.

  3. Select your name and then press Continue.
  4. On the Make a Reservation page, modify the dates and times for your reservation.
  5. If you configured floor plans for rooms in the Kiosk profile, then the floor plan view shows by default. You can view a list view of the available spaces by clicking the Switch to List View button at the bottom.
  6. If your Admin enabled filtering, select a filter to restrict results.
  7. To reserve from the Map View, select an available room and click the Reserve button.
  8. To reserve space from the list, click the Reserve icon next to the space that you want to reserve for your event.
