Administrative Functions in the EMS Web App
From the Admin Portal in the EMS Web App, Administrators can access error logs, view license information, and enabling help text.

Administrative Functions
Perform the administrative functions listed below:
- Clear Cache – Click Clear Cache to empty your cache of parameters, tool tip options, and web text. This is an important function that must be performed when parameter changes are made in the EMS Desktop Client.
If you have multiple servers that host the EMS Web App, you must Clear the Cache on each server.
- Enable Help Text Edit – To edit help text, click the link next to the help text. To disable help text edit, click Disable Help Text Edit.
- Enable Detailed Errors – View error details when troubleshooting issues. To disable this function, click the Disable Detailed Errors button.
- Disable Custom JavaScript – Disable custom JavaScript for the session while troubleshooting. Click the Enable Custom JavaScript to enable this function.
Error Logs
- Navigate to Admin Portal > Error Logs tab.
- Click on the .txt file of the log you want to view.
License Information
- Navigate to Admin Portal > License Information tab.
- Click Read License.
Information displays about the Application Version, what EMS components your organization is License For, the Expiration Date of your license, the number of Allowed Web Users for your license, and the number of Current Active Users.
