Buildings

Buildings are the highest level in the space hierarchy, consisting of floors, which in turn consist of spaces and rooms.

Create building

1. Go to Configuration > Facilities > Buildings & floors.

2. Open the Create new menu and select Building.

3. Enter building information, including the building’s Time zone.

   Room and space booking times are based on the building’s time zone.

4. Click Create.

   You can now add floors to the building.

Update building

1. Go to Configuration > Facilities > Buildings & floors.

2. Locate the building you want to update in the Buildings & floors list on the left.

   You can also use Search to find the building.

3. Double-click the building you want to update.

4. Make your changes in the window that opens and click Update.

Delete building

You can only delete buildings that do not have floors assigned to them. Delete all floors from a building before completing these steps. You’ll also need to delete all spaces and rooms before you remove the floor.

1. Go to Configuration > Facilities > Buildings & floors.

2. Locate the building you want to delete in the Buildings & floors list on the left.

   You can also use Search to find the building.

3. Double-click the building you want to delete.

4. Click Delete in the window that opens.

5. In the confirmation dialog, click Delete.
